In the heart of downtown Brooklyn, Delson or Sherman united two wellness clinics under one roof. We managed to build the city’s largest wellness center despite a tight deadline, a tighter budget, and clashing stakeholders. Now, patrons can get Pilates, massage, physical therapy, and chiropractic work all on one floor.
The open loft faces broad views of the park, while offices and treatment rooms are cozy and private. Movable panels divide the spaces for private care or group classes. We exposed ducts and heavy timber beams but jazzed up the look with vivid wallpaper and strong colors. Filling the space with sun, floor to ceiling windows offer wide views of Borough Hall and Cadman Plaza.
