CENTRAL PARK WEST APARTMENT
To restore the dignity of this Central Park West apartment, we carved out space to tuck ducts and equipment out of sight. We set the living room fireplace into a serene wall of stone and Venetian plaster, flanked by recessed bookcases. Flush curtains of metal beads veil the books for minimalist cool.
All the kitchen and pantry cabinets are gleaming stainless steel and etched glass. In contrast, the floors for both rooms are a warm red linoleum–the old all-natural recipe, not vinyl tiles.
